Project 1

I was asked to create a visual system and apply it as a design solution to solve a social problem. The solution required the creation of a print component, a website, a mobile app, and a take-away product that would all be tied together through design elements.

What I Did

I designed a visual system utilizing color, texture, type applications, and photography that became a common thread unifying a campaign that would address child abuse. I created a website, tri-fold brochure, flyer, posters, mobile app, and a tote bag.

Design Choices

I decided to use the color red as a unifying device. It was used as an overlay on some of the photos, and as accent text to act as call outs. I selected Arial Black communicate the seriousness of the topic.
